9.50 (excellent) | I wish there were a new season. There's enough material to start a new one, anyways. If Hakuoki lacked the story, this series delivers both plot and design. And how awesome is it that the mangaka's a woman?! (so is Fullmetal Alchemist, but I guess both bits of trivia are well and widely known by now...)

9.00 (very good) | The first season totally owned Ryuusei no Futago. Seriously.

10.00 (excellent) | Another one of my all-time favorites. Love both the first and second series. Looking forward to the second movie!!!

7.00 (above average) | If only the story was as good as the character design... and let's not even go to the main character. Ugh! I intend to finish this only because I started watching it...

9.75 (excellent) | I'm glad this didn't get canceled. Great art, good voice actor casting, brilliant references to actual events in history. Makes you want to look into world history, if not already appreciate it :D

10.00 (excellent) | This has got to be one of my all-time favorites, one which I watch over and over again.

10.00 (excellent) | Oh, the sheer and utter hotness that is Usui...

9.00 (very good) | Rating's not a 10, thanks to Alois who is just downright annoying. I wish Toboso-sensei stuck with the manga plot instead for the second season. Excellent music, costumes, and character design, though

10.00 (excellent) | I was long delayed in watching the second season. Well, better late than never!

10.00 (excellent) | I seldom watch shoujo anime because I have this notion that they're predictable--no offense to shoujo anime enthusiasts--but Ouran has scenes where I almost cried and right at the very second my tear's about to drop, something funny happens that I choke on my own laughter and the tears practically run right back up in my eyes.

10.00 (excellent) | I watched this again after taking a break from the train wreck that is Hekketsu Roku. Nanae Chrono's art is just as breathtaking as Hakuoki's but it didn't need enough fanservice to get viewers to like it...

10.00 (excellent) | This anime is what got me to learn Japanese and to like Japanese music. I remember cutting classes just to watch the series after TV stations and cable channels stopped airing the episodes. Despite the disappointing post-Shishio episodes and the crammed recounting in the second OVAs, and even if I hate Kaoru to pieces, I still give Ruroken a 10

8.50 (very good) | I got curious because this was popular among Japanese women even if it's textbook shounen anime. I shouldn't have wondered after seeing Masamune Date... Excellent animation and surprisingly semblance of plot with enough bits of references to Japanese history.

10.00 (excellent) | I think this series is one of the reasons why anime was once in the primetime slot of local Philippine TV

10.00 (excellent) | This one's equal parts of dorky, brilliant and cracky. I always watch this series whenever I want to laugh, and the puns never grow old. My favorite is the Monaco Arc :D |
